How to use career insights

Type the job title you want — or let it fill in from your profile when you are signed in — and, if you like, a city in Diffa. The page counts the matching jobs on Expertini right now and shows what they have in common.

  1. Check demand. “Open jobs” and “Posted in the last 30 days” show how much hiring there is, and whether it is picking up or slowing down compared with the 30 days before.
  2. Read the skills list. It shows how often each skill is mentioned in the open jobs. Add your own skills to see your match and which in-demand skills are missing from your list.
  3. Target employers and places. The employers and cities with the most open jobs are where your applications have the most chances.
  4. Check advertised pay before you apply or negotiate, then compare with the salary calculator.

Where the numbers come from

Everything is counted from the job adverts on Expertini Diffa — the same live listings you can search. Skills are counted when a skill appears in a job's title or description. Your skill match weights each of the most-mentioned skills (up to 15, mentioned in at least 3% of the open jobs) by how often it is mentioned, and shows the share of that demand your skills cover. Advertised pay uses the open jobs that state a salary and a pay period (per year, month, hour…): each advert counts once, at the middle of its range, and the typical range is the middle half of those adverts (25th to 75th percentile). It is shown only when at least five adverts quote the same pay period. Jobs without a stated salary are not included, so treat it as a guide, not a guarantee.

What is the career outlook?

A short summary of the figures on this page, written by Expertini Intelligence when you ask for it. It receives only those figures and the job title and place you typed — not your profile, not your CV and not the job adverts themselves — and an answer that quotes any number not in the figures is rejected. Each outlook uses one request from your plan's monthly allowance.

Why does a small city show few or no jobs?

The figures count only jobs advertised on Expertini that match both the job title and the place. Leave the place empty to see the whole country, or try a broader job title (for example “nurse” instead of “senior paediatric staff nurse”).

Is my profile shared with anyone?

No. Your job title and skills are only used to fill in the search on this page. The figures are about the job market, not about you.

Where can I see the whole market?

Market trends shows the same kind of figures for every job on Expertini Diffa: the fastest-growing job titles, the busiest categories and the top locations.
